So I have a joke for all my Muslim comedian friends. I feel comfortable telling this joke because I now realize that if they can laugh at murder, they can laugh at anything — especially those wacky Danish imams! — and will not be in any way offended.

This Muslim dies and is met by St. Peter, who says, “Welcome to Heaven!”

The Muslim says, “Thank you, St. Peter. I am honoured to meet you, but I am a Muslim, and would like to be greeted by the Prophet (pbuh).”

St. Peter looks confused. “The prophet?” he asks.

“Yes,” says the Muslim. “The Prophet Mohammed (pbuh).”

“Oh!” says St. Peter. “Mohammed…Okay, well, in that case, take that elevator to the fourth floor and take a left through the double doors.”

The Muslim ascends to the fourth floor and is met by Buddha. “Welcome to Heaven, my friend.”

The Muslim says, “Thank you Buddha, but I am looking for the Prophet Mohammed (pbuh).”

“Mohammed?” says Buddha. “You want to meet…Mohammed?”

“Very much,” says the Muslim.

“Well, then, just go through those double doors.”

The Muslim enters the double doors, and who should be standing before him but Jesus Christ, who welcoms him with a beatific smile and a warm embrace, saying, “Welcome to Heaven!”

The Muslim has become annoyed, and says, “Jesus, I mean no disrespect to you, but I am a Muslim, and I demand to be received by Mohammed (pbuh)! Immediately!”

“Really? Mohammed?”

“YES!”

“Well, okay,” says Christ. “Would you like some coffee while you’re waiting?”

“Certainly,” says the Muslim.

And if muslims say “oh thats not nice, why can’t you christians/democratites just accept that we are this way”.

Well then we can yell for months & months about how they are intolerant of our democracy/religion, and because this would really make us cranky,…. every single thing we do in retaliation is just what they should have expected for daring to offend us!!!

Yeah we can burn their flags as we cry “death to muslims”, or if we are very quiet about it we could fire bomb their embassies or behead their citizens (of course we would be criminals rather than heroes if WE did those things), or on occassion, for those muslims who directly caused the offending moment,…… we shall stab them in the street and leave threatening notes attached to their torsos.!!!

And the best part about it, we can blame it on being offended, hell we could even prove that we were offended in a court of law, sue their asses and take some of their oil money!! WOO HOO!!!!

Now the real question is…WHY ARE PREACHERS IN THE ISLAMIC FAITH DICTATING FOREIGN POLICY TO THE REST OF THE WORLD?

How is it that a backwoods, backwards, imam in Afghanistan can call for the death of a simple man who is a Christian and defy the will of not only his own government but that of the United States and the Coalition of nations which have shed blood and treasure to return Afghanistan to the people of Afghanistan from the tyrrany of the Taliban?

Why is a rustic rural koran-thumping illiterate dictating foreign policy to the rest of the world? Especially when the rest of the world has shown itself to be demonstrably more able to cope than has any part of Afghanistan under the influence of this backwards imam.

Who are these illiterate untutored Middle Eastern men who give themselves a title of ‘imam’ and take on the cloak of religiosity and ostentatious piety in order TO BE SEEN TO BE SEEN, who then expect the government of nations to adhere to their hysterical and paranoid screeches and dictates?

Why aren’t we asking ourselves what we REALLY FEAR? When we don’t put some untutored imam with a fourth grade education in his place, why are we letting this uncouth, unlettered rustic DEMAND ANYTHING? WHO IS HE? WHO ARE THEY?

The Danes have the right idea and Hamid Kharzai should take a page out of their book and tell the Afghan imam to shut up and be quiet. Instead Kharzai, by not squelching the man immediately, has played into their hands. He should have been loud and forceful in his denial of their demands. He should have been more Danish!
